hi again my friends, i have a new question here
if we have a statement like:
My son wrote ---- his old shoes.
& the choices are:
a) with.
on.
c) for.
d) out.
the correct answer is (d) - (out)
but i felt that it make sense to select ( - (on) , but that is not right.
can someone help me to understand that?
thanks in advance
We use the zero conditional when we want to talk about facts or things that are generally true. Scientific facts are often covered by the zero conditional: "When you heat ice, it melts."
we'll stay in the house until the rain ----
a- stop b- stopped c- will stop d- stops
the correct answer is d- stops ...but why?
thank you
if we have a statement like :
the water has ----- from the ground.
& the available choices are:
a- sprain
b- spring
c- springing
d- sprung
the correct answer is d ..... but why? .... how can i judge that this statement in the present perfect tense?
plz i need that help too much

The prepositions during, for, and while are often used with time time expressions. Let's take a look at the difference in usage between during, for, and while.
'We took the horses out by ourselves.'
Can you tell me which "Tense" is used in the following tense and when it is to be used?
"I'd spent"
