• 1) Flinch:
  
  B. A person who likes to attract attention from the opposite sex. E.g. ‘She’s such a flinch’!
  A. To draw away from something that is dangerous, difficult or unpleasant. E.g. ‘She flinched away from the fire’.
  
  
• 2) Doleful:
  
  B. To feel upset and melancholy.
  A. To owe a lot of money to someone. E.g. ‘I don’t want to give that customer a loan, he’s doleful.’
  
  
• 3) Consonant:
  
  B. A speech sound in English. E.g. ‘Be careful of the difference in sound of the consonants b and p’.
  A. One of the main landmasses on the globe. E.g. ‘The consonant of Europe’.
  
  
• 4) Seclusion:
  
  A. To be kept separate e.g. ‘She was being very naughty so she’s in seclusion’.
  B. A small piece of ground to grow vegetables in. E.g. ‘It’s such a lovely day, I think I’ll go down to my seclusion.
  
  
• 5) Creep:
  
  B. Someone who makes you nervous or engages in weird behaviour. E.g. ‘That’s the boy who followed me home, he’s such a creep’.
  A. Someone who always puts a lot of thought into Christmas presents. E.g. ‘I can’t believe you bought me that necklace, you’re such a wonderful creep’!
  
  
• 6) Nag:
  
  B. British slang for cigarette. E.g. ‘I’m really trying to quit smoking nags’.
  A. To constantly ask someone to do something in an annoying way. E.g. ‘She keeps nagging me to tidy my bedroom’.
  
  
• 7) Vase:
  
  B. What you put flowers in. E.g. ‘Please will you put those roses in the blue vase’.
  A. What you drink wine out of. E.g. ‘Look at these beautiful wine vases I bought’.
  
  
• 8) Avalanche:
  
  A. A large mass of snow, falling from a mountain or falling suddenly downward. E.g. ‘You’re so lucky you didn’t get hurt in that avalanche’.
  B. A special meal made from different types of birds meat. E.g. ‘I’m celebrating my birthday with a huge avalanche’!
  
  
• 9) Facetious:
  
  A. Sarcastic or amusing, a comment not meant to be taken seriously. E.g. ‘Cats can see through glass you liar, stop being so facetious’!
  B. To feel you’re not looking your best. E.g. ‘I can’t do my make-up properly today, I feel so facetious’!
  
  
• 10) Procrastinate:
  
  A. To make rude comments about someone publicly. E.g. ‘She was procrastinating about that poor lady’s hair, I felt so embarassed’.
  B. To delay an action or put it off until later. E.g. ‘I always procrastinate when I know I should be studying’.
