Especially is used to give us more information about verbs, adverbs and adjective. It means 'particularly / exceptionally' or, to keep it simple, 'very'. Specially should not be used in this context unless you are speaking in a very informal / casual situation.
"I baked this cake especially for you."
"Marcus wrote an especially good essay."
"He took an especially cautious attitude to the task"
" A lot of people suffered in the heatwave, especially the children and the elderly."
